Job Description

Two permanent full-time opportunities exist for Assistant Extruder Operator to join the team at CopRice Leeton. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

- Follow production plans and adjust to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply
n
- Ensure plant and equipment are operated and maintained to standard
n
- Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products
n

About you

n

n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Forklift licence essential, or you must be willing to obtain one
n
- Mechanical Aptitude (will be assessed)
n
- Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending required throughout the shift
n
- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
n
- Ability to learn recent processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards
n
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members
