Emu Caravans PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Caravan Repairer to join our team in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a well-established business in the caravan and recreational vehicle industry. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing caravans to the highest standards, ensuring our customers receive quality workmanship and reliable service. This hands-on position requires expertise in various repair and maintenance tasks, and you will be instrumental in upholding Emu Caravans' reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in caravans
n
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including servicing, inspections, and component replacements
n
- Conduct structural repairs and assess damage following accidents or wear and tear
n
- Work with fibreglass, wood, and metal components to repair walls, roofs, and exteriors
n
- Test systems and equipment to ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
n
- Maintain detailed records of repairs completed and parts used
n
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
n
- Manage tools and equipment responsibly and contribute to maintaining a clean, organised workshop
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience as a Caravan Repairer or similar role in the recreational vehicle or mobile home industry
n
- Strong knowledge of caravan systems including mechanical, electrical,



plumbing, and gas systems
n
- Proficiency in diagnosing faults and troubleshooting technical issues
n
- Competency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
n
- Robust problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake further training or certifications as required
n
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour and work in various positions
n
- Preferably: Experience with specific caravan brands or relevant trade qualifications
