Job Description

Kyogle Memorial Hospital is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in this rural NSW setting on a four-week contract. Based in the Northern Rivers region, this role offers the chance to bring senior clinical leadership and emergency expertise to a community-focused healthcare environment. The contract runs from 28 September to 25 October 2026, with in-charge responsibilities across triage and emergency nursing.

Preferred Requirements

- Proven experience working as a Senior Registered Nurse in an emergency department
n
- Demonstrated triage experience and competence in emergency nursing assessment
n
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
- Established in-charge experience with the ability to lead and coordinate emergency care
n
- Strong clinical decision-making skills in a rapid-paced, high-acuity environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
n
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
