You own the clinical quality machinery: accreditation, policy and process, registers, audit, incidents, quality data and governance forums. You also make it a system that learns: finding the gaps in how we deliver secure, high-quality care, whether they surface through audits, partner feedback, clinicians or other parts of the company, and closing them with standardised solutions that hold rather than one-off fixes. You work closely with the CEO on priorities and decisions, and alongside our Clinical Leads (Physiotherapy and Psychology), who hold clinical decision‑making authority within their disciplines.
Key responsibilities
Lead accreditation efforts: self-assessment, evidence, gap closure, assessor readiness, and keeping compliant after accreditation. Meet clinical governance requirements in partner contracts.
Keep one backlog of clinical quality, governance and safety problems, drawn from audits, incidents, case conferences, partner feedback and outcome data. For each one, scope the current state, name the real problem, design a standardised solution, write it down, roll it out and hand it over once it is running.
Write and maintain clinical policies, procedures, templates and guides the service runs on, to a standard that holds up to accreditation and partner review, and that clinicians actually use.
Run the clinical audit program with the Clinical Leads. Own incident management, complaints handling, the clinical risk register and the quality improvement register. Keep them current, complete and used to make decisions.
Run the quarterly Clinical Governance Committee and steer the weekly Clinical Quality meeting.
Make sure every forum turns into actions that close.
With Partnerships and Research teams, define what is measured (outcomes, attendance, completions, session quality and related measures), how the Clinical Leads see it, and how variation between clinicians is found and acted on.
Work with Product, Operations, Partnerships, Customer Support and other teams so that clinical quality, governance and safety are built into how the whole company works, from the client's first contact through to discharge.
Bring clinical governance into new and changing programs, working with Product, Content and Partnerships from design through to delivery.
About you
A healthcare background is essential. You might be a nurse, physiotherapist, psychologist, occupational therapist or other allied health professional, or you might have spent years in clinical quality, governance or safety roles inside a health service.
Systems and process oriented. You think in frameworks, workflows and registers. You are comfortable with governance and understand how policies, committees, audits and incident systems fit together.
You have helped a health service achieve and maintain accreditation against the NSQPCH Standards, the NSQHS Standards, the NDIS Practice Standards or similar,
and you know what assessors look for.
You can take an ambiguous problem, work out the current state, name the actual problem, weigh the options and reach a clear recommendation.
You produce policies, procedures and guides that are easy to follow and stand up to external review.
You keep a backlog, manage up with options rather than questions, and follow actions through to closure.
You can hold a quality bar with senior clinicians while keeping the room constructive.
About us
One in five Australians lives with chronic pain, and most never get the multidisciplinary care that we know works. MoreGoodDays is changing that. Our digital chronic pain programs pairs app based technology with one-to-one coaching from physiotherapists and psychologists, so people get gold‑standard care from home, earlier in their journey, before pain takes over their lives. MoreGoodDays is a growing team of clinicians, researchers, operators, engineers and designers spread across Australia. We deliver our programs through partnerships with insurers in health, workers' compensation and motor accident schemes, helping people get back to work, family and the things that matter to them.
A real mandate. You will shape a clinical quality function from close to the ground up, take a young health service through accreditation, and grow with the role.
Flexible, part-time work in a team that cares about doing this properly.
Work that matters. Our program helps people with persistent pain get back to the things that matter to them.
