QUALIFIED LANDSCAPER / LANDSCAPE SUPERVISOR

Full-Time Position | Eltham & Across Melbourne
$50 per hour + Company Vehicle + Fuel

Hammer Excavations are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Qualified Landscaper / Landscape Supervisor to join our growing team.

This is a full time position with head office based in Eltham , with projects located across Melbourne. We are looking for someone who is confident leading a team, managing landscaping projects from start to finish.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Landscape Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing landscaping projects, coordinating employees and subcontractors, maintaining high-quality workmanship and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role will include:

Supervising landscaping crews and day-to-day site activities

Leading and coordinating landscaping projects

Reading and working from plans and specifications

Setting out and preparing worksites

Landscape construction and hard landscaping

Excavation, earthworks and site preparation

Operating machinery, including excavators and Bobcats

Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

Liaising with clients, suppliers and other trades





Managing materials, equipment and site requirements

Problem-solving and working independently when required

Hands-on landscaping and construction work

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Certificate IV in Landscape Construction Management

Previous experience in a landscaping supervisory or leading-hand role

HR Driver Licence

Excavator ticket/licence

Bobcat ticket/licence

Valid White Card

Strong knowledge of landscape construction and horticulture

Ability to supervise and lead a team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A strong work ethic and professional attitude

Ability and willingness to travel to job sites across Melbourne

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Available to start ASAP

DESIRABLE

Working with Children Check

Additional plant and machinery tickets

Experience managing residential landscaping projects

Strong knowledge of Australian landscaping practices, materials and construction methods

You will need to be reliable, hardworking, well presented and willing to get hands-on . This is a role for someone who can lead from the front and deliver quality results.
