ACO Halgan is a roto-moulding and fabrication manufacturer based in NSW, VIC & QLD that requires a Plastic Fabricator and Poly Welder in our brand current production factory in Park Ridge.

The role requires you to
Perform plastic fabrication and poly welding tasks – primarily joining large HDPE sections.
Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and quality.
Able to read and follow detailed product drawings.
Work independently and as part of a team
Responsible for assuring the quality of their own work.
Record information, such as product details and dates of production.
Be reliable, punctual and dependable.

Skills and experience You will need to have,
Previous factory/ workshop experience and can follow safety requirements.
Preferably 2 years of experience using extrusion welding and hot air welding equipment and/or Plastic welding certificate.
Mechanical aptitude including reading & interpreting engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability
Forklift ticket
