About the Role

n

As the Systems and Data Analyst, you will play an key role in supporting system development and maintenance, reporting and on-the-ground technical support across Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services. You'll join a collaborative team committed to using data and digital solutions to enhance mental health service delivery.

n

Working closely with the Finance and Corporate Services Manager and teams across MHS, you'll provide practical technical solutions across systems, reporting, hardware and corporate services. You'll also work with high-priority mental health data, supporting its collection, reporting and use to inform service planning and decision-making.

n

With a solid connection to frontline mental health services, this is an opportunity to combine your technical and analytical skills with a genuine understanding of operational needs and make a practical impact across MHS.

Key Accountabilities

n

n
- Report development and maintenance including participation and input at key MHS meetings, working groups and projects
n
- Form and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across RMH
n
- Create and maintain a high level of documentation, manuals and training material
n
- Provide on-site support for facilities, inventory, hardware assistance, on-site technical support and corporate services across all mental health sites
n
- Lead the scoping, proposal development, planning and implementation of targeted technical solutions for the collection, reporting and utilisation of high priority mental health information
n
- Provide ad-hoc technical assistance to ensure the continued smooth running of the mental health sites
n
- Development and maintenance of systems, databases and workflows in collaboration with other RMH teams

About You

n

You bring strong technical, analytical and communication skills, with experience working with data and reporting systems. You'll also bring:

n

- Strong digital capability, including databases, reporting tools and Microsoft Office
n
- Intermediate SQL and database structure knowledge
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
n
- Confidence supporting and training staff
n
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare or medical setting
n
- A commitment to the Melbourne Way: putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together

- MS Report Builder, Power BI and/or Python
n
- Knowledge of mental health data collections
n
