Our investment banking client is seeking an exceptional Java Developer. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize next-generation, algorithmic trading engines, smart order routers (SOR), and market‐making platforms powering their global desks.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Architect and implement high‐throughput, sub‐millisecond execution algorithms and automated trading strategies.
n
- Profile and tune JVM, OS kernel, and application code for zero‐garbage collection patterns and minimal latency jitter.
n
- Build high‐performance market access connectors to global exchanges and broker venues using FIX and native binary protocols.
n
- Maintain micro‐benchmarking suites and latency tracking frameworks across the entire order lifecycle.
n

Core Technical Qualifications

n

n
- Deep expertise in Core Java internals (Java Memory Model, lock‐free data structures, off‐heap memory management, and multi‐threaded concurrency).
n
- Proven track record of engineering high‐throughput, latency‐critical, or real‐time distributed systems.
n
- Proficiency in Linux OS performance tuning, CPU pinning/affinity, and network stack optimization (TCP/UDP).

Domain Knowledge (Preferred, Not Required)

n

n
- Understanding of limit order book dynamics, market data feeds, and execution algorithms (TWAP, VWAP, Implementation Shortfall).
n
- Familiarity with FIX protocol or native binary exchange protocols (e.g., ITCH/OUCH).
