We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to joinour Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract, coveringparental leave, based at our Head Office in Perth CBD. There ispotential for the contract to be extended to 12 months, subject tobusiness requirements. Reporting to the Group Accounts Manager,this role is responsible for providing accurate and timely accountspayable support across the business while maintaining strongsupplier relationships and ensuring compliance with companyprocedures and financial controls.

To be considered for this position, you must possess thefollowing as a minimum:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices accuratelyand efficiently
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processesincluding coding, matching, approvals, reconciliations, andpayment processing
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy and dataentry capability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesin a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills,particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaborativelywithin a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is desirable but notessential

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsiblefor, but not limited to:

- Processing supplier invoices accurately including coding,matching, and approvals
- Maintaining supplier and vendor records within thefinancial system
- Responding to supplier queries and resolving invoicediscrepancies in a professional and timely manner




- Preparing payment runs and issuing remittance advices
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigatingoutstanding items
- Assisting with month-end accounts payable tasks includingaccruals and ageing reviews
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, andinternal financial controls
- Liaising with internal departments regarding invoiceapprovals and payment queries
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within theaccounts payable function
