Be the Colac Otway Shire Council's Information Management Expert

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Information Management Officer to support records management, information security and compliance across the organisation. This role plays a key part in maintaining Council's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), delivering staff training, managing archives and providing expert information management advice.

About You

You will bring:

- Confidence using computer systems and applications. Experience with electronic document or records management systems is an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks in a busy work environment.
- Effective communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach when supporting staff and stakeholders.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and handling information appropriately, or a willingness to learn.
