About the Role

n

As a Full Stack Developer at SBM, you'll work across a varied portfolio of digital projects using modern technologies such as React, Flutter and Ruby on Rails.

n

You'll collaborate closely with our Technology, Design, Strategy and Campaign Management teams to translate client requirements into effective technical solutions. You'll contribute throughout the development lifecycle - from technical planning and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing improvement - while taking ownership of your work and communicating clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.

n

Key Skills and Qualifications

n

We're looking for someone with:

n

n
- 2+ years of career development experience, including strong experience with React or Flutter
n
- Strong knowledge of React and related technologies, including state management, component lifecycles and performance optimisation
n
- Experience using Git-based workflows,



including pull requests, code reviews and version control best practices
n
- The ability to understand client requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
n
- Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
n
- The ability to manage priorities, communicate progress and meet project deadlines
n
- Experience collaborating with designers, developers and other stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
n
- Familiarity with project management and time-tracking tools such as ClickUp and Harvest
n

n

Bonus points if you have experience with:

n

n
- Flutter development
n
- Ruby on Rails
n
- CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or DigitalOcean
n
- Database architecture, data modelling or data strategy
n
- AI tools, frameworks and APIs
n
- Digital infrastructure, application security and performance optimisation
n
- Working in an agency or across multiple client projects simultaneously
n
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential
n

Responsibilities

n

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Developing, testing and maintaining web and mobile applications using modern technologies
n
- Contributing to technical planning, solution design and project scoping




n
- Translating client and stakeholder requirements into practical technical solutions
n
- Collaborating with designers, developers and internal teams to deliver seamless digital experiences
n
- Reviewing code and contributing to consistent development standards and practices
n
- Managing your assigned tasks, priorities and time through ClickUp, Harvest and other project tools
n
- Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
n
- Supporting the security, reliability and performance of the applications and infrastructure you work with
n
- Communicating project progress, risks and technical considerations clearly to internal teams and clients
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement across our development processes and technology stack
n
