St. Vincent’s Hospital Pharmacy Department is offering an exciting opportunity for two motivated 3rd year pharmacy students to work directly with our Medication Safety and Strategy Senior Pharmacist on a department quality improvement project.
The role will involve hands-on work on a targeted research project designed to improve the delivery of medication management hospital processes. This is an excellent chance to develop your clinical research, data analysis, and project management skills within a major hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with the Medication Safety and Strategy Senior Pharmacist to complete a dedicated quality improvement project.
You will assist with data collection, audit processes, and literature reviews to support the project goals.
You will maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient and hospital data at all times.
You will adhere strictly to hospital policies, procedures, and professional pharmacy standards.
Key Selection Criteria
Highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude
Current 3rd year (or equivalent) recognised Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Availability to work Monday to Friday onsite at the Fitzroy campus (38 hours per week) for the full 3 weeks - 30th November to 18th December 2026.
Valid work rights for Australia.
Current National Criminal history check, or willing to obtain.
