Are you an experienced and dynamic leader with a passion for health care? Northside Clinic, a thriving medical practice located in Fitzroy North, is seeking a dedicated full-time Practice Manager to join our team.

n

Northside Clinic has a particular focus on providing quality medical care in a safe and friendly environment for the LGBTIQA+ and HIV positive communities in Melbourne's inner north. We also provide General Practice care to the local community in Fitzroy North.

Experience working with Best Practice software is essential.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

n

As our Practice Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:

n

- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring seamless operations and the delivery of outstanding patient care.
n
- Team Leadership: Cultivate a professional, friendly, and service-focused work environment, leading and supporting our multidisciplinary team.
n
- People & Culture: Manage rostering, onboarding and training for our dedicated team members.
n
- Accreditation & Safety: Ensure the practice operates safely and effectively within the guidelines of the RACGP 5th Edition.
n
- System Development: Maintain systems and processes to ensure efficiency of service and clinical excellence
n
- Administrative Support: Provide support to the administration team, including covering the reception desk when necessary.
n
- Financial Oversight: Handle essential financial management tasks such as receipting,



petty cash reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
n

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a proactive and adaptable team player with a strong commitment to patient care. To be successful in this role, you'll need:

- Proven Management Experience: Previous management experience in a General Practice or other medical specialist environment is essential.
n
- Exceptional Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and engaging multidisciplinary teams, with a track record of building and managing professional relationships with employees and contractors.
n
- Patient-Centric Approach: A positive and professional attitude coupled with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
n
- Operational Acumen: The ability to effectively manage the demands of daily practice operations, demonstrating strong adaptability, multitasking skills, and the capacity to work well under pressure.
n
- Communication & Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with a patient-focused approach.
n
- Tech-Savvy: Highly developed computer and IT skills, with proficiency with Best Practice software and scheduling software.
n

Even Better If You Have:

- Prior accreditation experience.
