The following requirements are essential for this role:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience delivering ILS services within Defence, CASG, acquisition, sustainment or complex materiel environments.
n
- Strong understanding of Defence materiel logistics, supportability analysis, Logistic Support Analysis, sustainment planning and whole-of-life support requirements.
n
- Experience developing, reviewing or maintaining ILS concepts, ILS plans, logistics support artefacts,



technical documentation and sustainment planning documentation.
n
- Experience supporting materiel transition into sustainment, including sustainment readiness, support arrangements, logistics risk management and support system planning.
n
- Ability to review, assess and provide advice on contractor ILS deliverables, logistics documentation, support plans and technical artefacts.
n
- Experience working with Defence project teams, engineers, commercial staff, procurement teams, industry partners and other logistics stakeholders.
n
- Ability to interpret contractual, technical, policy and logistics requirements and translate them into practical support arrangements.
n
- Experience preparing written advice, briefs, reports and logistics documentation for senior stakeholders and delegate consideration.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work across multi-disciplinary Defence and industry environments.
n
- Current or ability to obtain a Defence security clearance.
n

The following requirements are highly desirable for this role:

n

n
- Experience working above-the-line in a CASG or Defence project workplace.
n
- Familiarity with contemporary Defence capability acquisition and delivery processes, including the One Defence Capability System where relevant.
n
- Experience with ASDEFCON suite deliverables, CDRL items, DIDs,



DSDs, support contract inputs and contractor deliverable reviews.
n
- Experience contributing to procurement planning, contract negotiation, approach-to-market activities or support contract development from an ILS perspective.
n
- Experience developing or reviewing ILSCs, ILSPs, maintenance concepts, transition plans, disposal plans, technical publications or training system documentation.
n
- Experience with RAM analysis, LSA activities, supportability analysis and materiel logistics performance reporting.
n
- Experience with Defence logistics information systems such as MILIS, Defence ERP or similar inventory, asset or logistics management systems.
n
- Experience in cataloguing, codification, spares planning, provisioning, stock control, disposal planning and inventory management.
n
- Understanding of Defence logistics and procurement policy, including DEFLOGMAN, Commonwealth Procurement Rules and relevant CASG processes.
n
- Experience integrating FIC considerations into ILS planning and sustainment readiness activities.
n
- Experience supporting training needs analysis or training system development, including SADL where relevant.
n
- Experience with configuration management and change management principles as they apply to logistics data, technical documentation and support system artefacts.
n
- Experience supporting GFE planning, tracking, obligations and handover activities.
n
- Experience leading small teams, mentoring junior ILS practitioners or uplifting ILS practices within a Defence project environment.
n
- Experience working with complex technical systems, ICT-enabled systems or other specialist materiel environments.
