The role is a casual, Medical Receptionist position, available to work shifts across the week (Monday to Friday) between 8am and 5pm. This role is based at our Mount Isa clinic.

Role Overview

n

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
n
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
n
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
n
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
n
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

- Relevant reception/customer service experience.

- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
