Job Description

This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis for the right candidate. The role is primarily office-based in Dandenong, with the prospect for some work-from-home flexibility once established in the role. You will manage bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries while working closely with our experienced team.

Key responsibilities

n

Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations

n

Processing payroll and payroll compliance

n

Processing superannuation and payroll reporting

n

BAS preparation assistance and maintaining accurate financial records

n

Coding transactions and understanding Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts

n

Liaising with clients and responding to bookkeeping enquiries

n

Assisting with month-end bookkeeping processes

n

About you

n

Previous bookkeeping experience (experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm is highly regarded)

n

QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience

n

Experience using Xero and MYOB

n





Excellent payroll knowledge, including awards, superannuation and STP

n

Strong reconciliation skills

n

Excellent communication and client service skills

n

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

n

Ability to prioritise work, multitask and work independently
