About the Role
n
We're looking for afriendly, organised and compassionate Receptionistto join our team.
n
As the welcoming face of our clinic, you'll play an key role in creating a positive and supportive experience for our clients and their families. You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, communicates confidently and takes pride in providing warm and professional service.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Greeting and welcoming clients to the clinic
n
- Managing phone, in-person and online enquiries
n
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments and filling appointment cancellations
n
- Staying in close communication with our Speech Pathologists, both in the clinic and remotely
n
- Maintaining accurate records and completing data entry in our practice management software
n
- Processing payments in person and over the phone via HICAPS.
n
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming clinic environment
n
- Supporting the broader team with general administration
n
- Escalating queries to the Director or Admin Lead when required
n
n
About You
n
You're apeople-focused, proactive and organisedperson who understands that reception is about much more than answering phones and booking appointments.
n
You take pride in a well-organised office and enjoy providing friendly, efficient and thoughtful service to clients and their families.
n
You'll be comfortable working with children and families, able to build rapport quickly and confident managing competing priorities. You'll bring a calm and positive approach to your work and enjoy being part of a close‐knit team of speech pathologists and admin colleagues.
n
You'll Need
n
n
- Strong communication and computer skills
n
- A current Working with Children Check
n
- Permanent Australian working rights with no restrictions
n
- A minimum of 2 years' reception or administration experience in a healthcare setting
n
n
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
n
n
- Familiarity with NDIS and Medicare referral pathways
n
- Confidence using practice management software
n
- Cliniko experience (a bonus)
n
n
What You'll Get

- A 2–3 day work week
n
- Hourly rate of $31-$33. You will be paid $31 per hour during your training.
n
