Disability Support Worker - Immediate Start

n

You will provide high-quality daily living, personal care, and community support to individuals with significant physical and medical needs. This includes working within structured care plans, maintaining safety at all times, and supporting clients to live with dignity and independence.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide safe and respectful personal care

n

Assist with mobility, hoist transfers, and positioning

n

Support with community access and daily routines

n

Monitor for seizures, asthma symptoms, and other health changes

n

Maintain accurate shift notes and incident documentation

n

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

n

Uphold client dignity, privacy,



and choice at all times

n

About you

n

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services

n

Hoist competency (2:1 transfers)

n

Current First Aid & CPR certificate

n

Experience with personal care and high-intensity support tasks

n

Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient

n

Robust attention to detail and risk awareness

n

Reliable, punctual, and professional team member

n

Ability to follow structured care plans

n

Electric wheelchair operation and safety (preferred)
