About the Opportunity
n
We are seeking an engaging and dynamic Events Manager to develop and deliver events for our community including parents, alumnae, prospective families, and students. This role is part of the Advancement Team and reports to the Director of Advancement.
n
This role is temporary full-time commencing as soon as practicable till end of 2026.
n
n
- Develop event briefs and collaborate with the Director of Advancement to ideate and deliver events with outstanding guest experiences.
n
- Prepare and manage event budget and financial reconciliations.
n
- Implement and prepare various aspects of event management, including sourcing and booking venues, preparation of event invitations and booking links, event budget management, event logistics and oversight.
n
- Attend events and ensure seamless execution.
n
- Requires flexibility and out of hours work such as evening and weekend work.
n

The Ideal Candidate
n
n
- Qualifications and experience in event planning and management.
n
- Experience with event booking and ticketing platforms such as Trybooking is highly desirable.
n
- Superb interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships.
n
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines, problem solve and achieve results in a timely manner.
n
- Strong administrative and organisational skills and excellent attention to detail including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database use and event management software.
n
- Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated and take initiative.
n
- Experience in a school environment or similar role is highly desirable but not essential.
n
