Atlas Golf is seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Manager to lead construction delivery on a major golf course redevelopment in South East Melbourne.

This is a hands-on site leadership role for someone with strong experience in large-scale landscape or golf course construction, with particular expertise in civil works, drainage and services coordination.

You will directly manage a small Atlas team of specialist golf course shapers and feature builders, while coordinating subcontractors delivering major packages including bulk earthworks, irrigation and other services.

On-Site Construction Manager

Atlas Golf is seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Manager to lead construction delivery on a major golf course redevelopment in South East Melbourne.

You will directly manage a small Atlas team of specialist golf course shapers and feature builders, while coordinating subcontractors delivering major packages including bulk earthworks, irrigation and other services.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site.
n
- Manage Atlas specialist shapers, operators and feature construction crews.
n
- Coordinate subcontractors across bulk earthworks, irrigation, electrical and other services.
n
- Plan construction sequencing, plant, labour, materials and site access.
n




- Manage interfaces between earthworks, drainage, services and golf course feature construction.
n
- Oversee the accurate capture and preparation of as-built information throughout construction.
n
- Apply project HSEQ requirements in day-to-day planning and site delivery.
n
- Monitor progress, quality, safety and environmental requirements.
n
- Resolve practical site and constructability issues as they arise.
n
- Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants and Club representatives.

About You

n

We are looking for someone with:

n

n
- Extensive experience in large-scale landscape or golf course construction.
n
- Strong practical experience in civil construction, drainage and underground services.
n
- Demonstrated experience coordinating irrigation, electrical and other service installations.
n
- Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, levels, grading and construction sequencing.
n
- Experience managing site crews and subcontractors.
n
- Experience overseeing as-built records, survey information and construction documentation.
n
- Strong applied knowledge of HSEQ systems and site-based implementation.
n
- Ability to read and interpret civil, landscape, services and construction drawings.
n
- Strong plant and machinery knowledge.
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with robust site leadership skills.

Golf course construction experience is highly regarded, but strong large-scale landscape construction experience with substantial civil, drainage and services exposure will also be considered.
