Site Servicesis seeking an experienced and drivenOperations Managerto join our team based in Eagle Farm. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a solid operations background who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and enjoys mentoring and developing teams.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Oversee day-to-day traffic operations and workforce coordination
n
- Develop new revenue opportunities through proactive engagement with new and prospective clients;
n
- Lead, mentor, and support operations and field staff
n
- Build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships internally and externally
n
- Conduct onboarding and Training for new hires
n
- Conduct Site Visits and Audits
n
- Conduct Drug & Alcohol screening
n
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, WHS requirements, and traffic regulations
n
- Assist with rostering, workforce planning, and operational reporting
n
- Maintain strong communication with clients, crews, and management teams
n
- Lead a Safety-First Culture
n
- Provide leadership in the workplace by modelling high standards of work performance, positively influencing teams and individuals.
n
- Exercise analytical and problem-solving skills to pre-empt and mitigate risks in relation to all traffic management operations.
n
- Manage and develop a team that will ensure that individual skills are enhanced and potentially realized.
n

About You

n

n




- Previous experience in Traffic Management operations or supervision of large workforces
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously and lead teams effectively
n
- Confident conducting training, onboarding, and compliance activities
n
- Excellent communication and Organisational skills
n
- Experience of investigating Workplace Incidents and developing corrective actions
n
- Experience with Performance management of workforce and industrial relations compliance
n
- Flexible and willing to be on call after hours / weekends on rotating roster
n
- Strong understanding of safety and operational procedures
n

Requirements

n

n
- Traffic Management industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential
n
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing client relationships.
n
- Proven ability to lead a team, drive performance and provide exceptional service.
n
- An understanding of financial and business development principles to drive the profitability of the depot.
n
- Experience within a blue-collar environment
n
- Current Traffic Control tickets (not essential, but required to obtain after employment)
n
