Our team at Kuga is growing and we are seeking a Project Engineer with Commercial Solar experience to join our team.

This role is suitable for a high-performing engineer who:

- Is a outstanding electrical and solar engineer
n

- Is creative and looking to play an industry-leading role in delivering innovation to the market

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate technical ability covering:

n

n
- Projects engineered and delivered to budget ranging from rooftop, ground mount and solar car park.
n
- Application of applicable Australian Standards, industry best practices and methodologies
n
- Optimisation of DC and AC designs to improve cost or performance
n
- The research, development and implement of business improvement opportunities to gain efficiencies or cost savings
n

n

Design, specification and construction plan for:

n

n
- Roof top solar over 100kW
n
- BESS over 100kWh
n
- LV AC electrical connection inclusive of scope of work, protection, switchboards, isolation and cables
n
- HV AC electrical connection inclusive of scope of work, protection, switchboards, isolation and cables
n
- Generator interlock
n
- Design of control systems and metering
n

Detailed understanding of the below Australian Standards:

n

n
- AS3000 - Wiring Rules
n
- AS3008 - Electrical installations - Selection of cables
n
- AS5033 - Installation and safety requirements for photovoltaic (PV) arrays
n
- AS4777 - Grid connection of energy systems via inverters, Part 1: Installation requirements
n
- AS5139 - Electrical installations - Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment
n
- AS61439 - Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies
n
