Job Description

Three month, full time 8am - 4pm, temporary contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent. The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fit-outs on caravans, campers, and RVs. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and dealership standards, supporting a positive customer experience and the overall reputation of the dealership.

Key responsibilities

- Interior and Exterior fit-offs
n
- Perform scheduled service, maintenance, and safety checks on caravans and RVs
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues
n
- Conduct brake, bearing, suspension, and chassis inspections and repairs
n
- Install and repair appliances, 12V/240V systems, gas systems (if licensed), and accessories
n
- Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
n
- Install aftermarket accessories such as solar systems, batteries, awnings, air-conditioning units,



towing equipment, and water systems
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety proceduresUse tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices correctly and safely
n
- Assist with stock control of parts and workshop consumables
n

About you

n

n
- Experience in caravan, manufacturing, automotive, RV, marine, or similar mechanical/technical trade
n
- Strong understanding of 12V electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components
n
- Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs independently
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Solid problem-solving skills
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
