Job Description

A qualified carpenter role working across a range of jobs in Port Macquarie. All work is local with no travel, FIFO, or long drives. The work is wide-ranging and includes framing, external cladding, sheeting, hybrid timber flooring installation, and general maintenance work across Port Macquarie sites. Hours are flexible — you can work two or three days a week around other commitments, or a full-time load of around 38 hours a week. You tell us what days and times suit you and can work at your own pace, as long as the job keeps moving forward. Fixed-term contracts of three or six months are also available depending on the hours you're after.

About you

- Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification — essential
n
- White Card
n
- Your own basic tools and reliable transport
n
- Ability to work unsupervised and produce neat, finished work
n
- 3+ years on the tools preferred, but the right person with less experience will be considered
n
- Additional trade skills highly valued — waterproofing accreditation or other tickets beyond carpentry
