A varied, hands-on position for an admitted solicitor who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will work alongside the Principal Solicitor, managing a diverse caseload and contributing to client outcomes from day one. The role commences part-time with a clear view to full-time as the firm grows.

Key responsibilities

- Manage caseloads across criminal, family law and IVO matters
n
- Draft correspondence, court documents, briefs and affidavits
n
- Appear in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts and FCFCOA
n
- Liaise with clients, counsel, prosecutors and courts
n
- Maintain file notes, time recording and trust compliance
n
- Assist with estates, debt recovery and civil matters
n
- Contribute to firm processes, precedents and templates
n

About you

n

n
- Admitted solicitor in Victoria — 0 to 3 years PQE
n
- Sound understanding of criminal and/or family law procedure
n




- Confident advocate — written, oral and in court
n
- Organised, self-motivated, deadline-driven
n
- Comfortable working independently in a small firm
n
- Smokeball or similar practice management software preferred
n
- Commitment to client service and professional integrity
n
