A leading engineering consultancy who delivers complex transport and infrastructure outcomes across Queensland, partnering with government and local stakeholders on state-significant road and highway programs.

You will join our client on major TMR projects in Brisbane, with exposure across the full design lifecycle from concept through to construction. This role suits a senior drafter who enjoys technical detail, tidy drawing management, and explicit communication with engineers and external stakeholders.

There is a strong pipeline of work and a genuine pathway to long-term ongoing engagement for the right person.

About the Role

n

This is a Brisbane-based Senior Civil Drafter opportunity working on high-profile roads and highways projects.

n

n
- Produce detailed drafting packages across civil and transport deliverables
n
- Draft drainage, pavement, signage and linemarking, road furniture, general civil works
n
- Prepare concept drawings for consultation and stakeholder review
n
- Complete as-constructed drawings and maintain drawing registers
n
- Manage drawing sets, x-refs and revisions in ProjectWise and Autodesk Vault
n




- Liaise with councils, property owners, field crews and construction teams
n

Skills and Experience

n

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Strong AutoCAD capability (AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Map 3D)
n
- Proven experience drafting to QLD TMR standards and codes
n
- Roads, highways or rail project drafting background (major packages preferred)
n
- ProjectWise and/or Autodesk Vault experience for document control
n
- Confident stakeholder communication for design meetings and site engagement
n
