Key responsibilities

- Oversee and assist with daily farm operations, including feeding, health monitoring and egg collection
- Manage, supervise and train farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety and biosecurity protocols and best practices
- Monitor egg production, quality, and inventory levels
- Ensure the well‑being of our hens by implementing proper housing, feeding, and healthcare practices
- Oversee and assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, incidents or issues
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and animal welfare standards
- Coordinate your team's shifts and on high risk days ensure the birds are kept cool and all systems are working well

About you

- Previous experience in egg or poultry farming is preferred with strong knowledge of poultry health




- Experience with an aviary system will be highly regarded
- Robust leadership, organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- An unfaltering commitment to biosecurity protocols
- Familiarity with egg production processes, animal husbandry, and farm equipment
