We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join Drillcut on a contract basis . Based in Broadmeadows, VIC 3047 , this role is pivotal to our operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and products across various routes, maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position plays a crucial part in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining our reputation for reliable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Operate trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
- Load, secure and unload cargo in accordance with safety guidelines and company procedures
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, representing Drillcut positively to customers
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

- Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence, as required for the role
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Must have own vehicle(Truck)
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver in the transport or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety procedures and compliance requirements




- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for vehicle and cargo security
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual lifting and loading tasks
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and digital logbooks
- A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
