Wellco Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to develop and grow customer relationships across Tasmania.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial maintenance, Mechanical services, Automation, Valve systems, or Technical Sales who enjoys solving customer problems and building long-term business relationships.
n
You do not need direct experience with our entire product range. We will provide comprehensive product and supplier training to help you succeed.

About the Role
n
Based in Hobart, you will work directly with industrial customers across Tasmania, providing technical advice and identifying opportunities to deliver solutions from Wellco's portfolio of Motion Control, Instrumentation, Fluid Control and Engineering and Machining Supplies.
n
You will be responsible for:

- Managing and growing an established customer base
n
- Developing new business opportunities across Tasmania
n
- Working with engineers, maintenance managers and procurement teams
n
- Identifying customer needs and recommending technical solutions
n
- Preparing quotations and following up opportunities
n
- Building robust relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers
n
- Representing Wellco's professional and customer-focused approach
n
n
About You
n
We are interested in candidates who have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Instrumentation
n
- Mechanical engineering
n
- Process engineering
n
- Pneumatics and fluid power
n
- Valves and flow control
n
- Automation and control systems
n
- Technical customer service
n

You will ideally possess

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Mechanical or technical aptitude
n
- A proactive and self-motivated approach

- The ability to understand customer applications and challenges

- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
