Due to expansion and growth within our clients business, we are seeking aProduction Engineer to join a market leader inits field.

This multi national company is looking for a degree qualified Manufacturing Engineer to support improvements in cost effectiveness, quality and safety through implementation of recent technology and processes in their manufacturing operations.

n

Key objectives and responsibilities include:

n

n
- Uses Lean manufacturing principles to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
n
- Use knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, and quality control standards.
n
- Provide technical support to other internal functions like Supply Chain and Sales
n
- Work with the Manufacturing Technology Engineers to analyse cost benefits and evaluate business cases
n
- Reviewing and checking Engineering documentation like BOMs, drawings
n
- Applies statistical methods to understand historical production and quality trends.
n

n

Experience:

n

n
- Engineering degree (master, bachelor,



FH/ETH or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, production/ manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant STEM degree.
n
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the field of industrial engineering and or process planning in the production environment
n
- 2D and 3D drawing creation using CREO would be preferred
n

n
