As our project portfolio continues to grow across Australia and internationally, we're looking for talented Control Systems Engineers to join our Controls & Automation team. You'll have the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute across the full project lifecycle from design and programming through to commissioning and ongoing support.

About the Role

n

As a Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering automation solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and operational support.

n

Depending on your experience and project allocation, you'll have the opportunity to work across:

- Major mining and resource projects
n
- Renewable energy developments

- Infrastructure and heavy industry projects

- Interstate and international project opportunities

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, site personnel, and clients to deliver high-quality control systems that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design and develop industrial control systems
n
- PLC and SCADA programming, configuration, and testing
n
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and documentation
n
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
n
- Site commissioning and start-up support
n
- Fault finding, optimisation, and system improvements
n




- Client engagement and technical support throughout project delivery
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and client specifications
n

n

About You

n

We're looking for engineers who are passionate about automation and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.

n

- Experience with PLC and SCADA systems
n
- Control systems design and commissioning experience
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work across both office-based engineering and site environments
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industrial environments
n
- Exposure to major automation platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, GE, Ignition, Citect, AVEVA, or similar
n
- Experience working on brownfield operational sites
n
- Commissioning experience across multidisciplinary project teams
n
