We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a long term basis .

Applicants must have previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy or previous hands-on compounding experience within a pharmacy environment .

Experience in an Australian compounding pharmacy is highly desirable , however additional training in our compounding processes and procedures will be provided to the successful applicant.

Please note: This position is specifically for an experienced Pharmacy Technician/Compounding Technician . It is not a pharmacist position and is not suitable for applicants whose experience is solely as an overseas-qualified pharmacist without pharmacy technician or pharmacy compounding experience.

About the Role

The role involves the preparation of compounded pharmaceutical products and may include:

- Preparing and filling capsules and syringes
- Milling and preparing creams and ointments
- Weighing and mixing raw materials and ingredients
- Preparing pharmaceutical formulations and batches
- Following compounding procedures, formulas and quality-control processes
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records

The position also includes laboratory and stockroom responsibilities such as:

- Inventory and stock control
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management
- Quality-control procedures and documentation
- Restocking raw materials and laboratory supplies
- Waste management
- Washing laboratory glassware and equipment
- Cleaning equipment and workstations
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic laboratory environment
- Other duties as directed by the Laboratory Supervisor

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a busy laboratory setting . Accuracy and the ability to consistently follow procedures are essential.
