About the role

n

MSS Security is seeking Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance to join our team in Melbourne. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.

n

Onsite parking is available once clearance is obtained and the successful candidate is placed at the new site, with the exception of City-based sites.

- Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year.
n

n

Duties include but are not limited to:

n

n
- Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.
n
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
n
- Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
n




- Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.
n
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
n
- Hold a current Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance (or willing to obtain).
n
- Valid Victorian Security Licence.
n
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
n
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
n
- 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
n
- Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.
n
- Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
