Full Time (37.5 hours/week) - Secure Transcriber - Melbourne or Canberra

About The Role

n

Join our Canberra or Melbourne CBD team as a Secure Transcriber. You'll produce accurate transcripts from sensitive recordings, supporting justice and public safety. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday.

n

Transcribers are responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.

About You

n

You probably love to read.



You have a commendable vocabulary and wouldn't mind embellishing it with some niche legal terminology. You type with ease, and with excellent spelling and grammar.

What We Are Looking For

n

Full time, in office availability in the Melbourne CBD or Canberra CBD, Monday – Friday, 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6.

n

70+ wpm typing speed with strong accuracy

n

Excellent English vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension

n

Proficiency in MS Word and computer literacy

n

Australian citizenship or permanent residency

n

Willingness to complete a Baseline security clearance (funded by Epiq)

n

Prior transcription experience is an advantage but not essential — our training program is designed to set you up for success.
