POSITION

n

Due to continued growth, a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer position is now available to join the team.

n

n
- Lead the mechanical design and documentation of commercial HVAC and mechanical services projects.
n
- Produce and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
n
- Collaborate with project managers, draftspersons and contractors across all stages of design and delivery.
n
- Ensure all designs comply with Australian Standards, project specifications and company procedures.
n
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff.
n
- Identify and resolve design issues, coordination clashes and technical challenges.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement across design processes, systems and standards.
n
- Support project delivery, installation coordination and commissioning requirements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

n

To be considered it is vital that you have the following:

n

n
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within commercial HVAC or mechanical services
n
- Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulics and mechanical services design
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar design software
n
- Experience producing and reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation
n
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and relevant compliance requirements
n
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing project deadlines
n
- Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising across all levels of a project team
n
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
