CBR Recruitment is partnering with a high-profile Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced APS6 Rehabilitation Case Manager to join a collaborative Health and Wellbeing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR, rehabilitation, return-to-work, workers compensation or wellbeing professional looking to make a meaningful impact in supporting employee health, recovery and workplace participation.

About the Role

n

As the Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will provide expert advice and case management support for employees returning to work following work-related and non-work-related injury or illness. You will work closely with managers, employees, medical practitioners and other stakeholders to deliver effective rehabilitation outcomes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing rehabilitation and return-to-work cases
n
- Providing advice to managers and employees on rehabilitation and workplace adjustments
n




- Supporting workers compensation and rehabilitation processes
n
- Developing and implementing return-to-work plans
n
- Contributing to health, wellbeing and injury prevention initiatives
n
- Reviewing policies, procedures and guidance materials
n
- Assisting with reporting and compliance activities
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will bring:

n

n
- Previous experience working within a Federal Government workplace (essential)
n
- Experience managing rehabilitation, return-to-work or workers compensation cases
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health, wellbeing and rehabilitation principles
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures
n
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and sound judgement
n
- Experience within the Comcare framework is highly regarded
n
