We're looking for a motivated apprentice to join our Staircase Division and learn the cabinetmaking trade while specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-end custom timber staircases.

n

This isn't your typical apprenticeship.

n

You'll be working out of our state-of-the-art factory, alongside some of the best timber tradespeople in the industry, learning how to manufacture premium staircases using modern CNC technology, including our Biesse Rover.

n

You'll gain hands-on experience in the factory and on site, working with timber, metal and glass to produce staircases for high-end residential and commercial projects.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

n

- Manufacture and assemble custom staircase components
n
- Timber machining, cutting and assembly
n
- CNC operation and production
n
- Operating modern workshop machinery
n
- Reading plans, drawings and shop drawings
n
- Precision measuring and setting out
n
- Sanding, finishing and detailed timber work
n
- Installation of staircases on site
n
- Working with timber, metal and glass
n
- Safe workshop and site practices
n
- How a premium staircase goes from a drawing to a finished installation
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who:

- Is punctual and reliable

- Keeps a clean and organised workshop

- Follows instructions and drawings carefully
n
- Takes safety seriously

- Can work as part of a team
n
- Is willing to get off the tools and learn every part of the process
n
- Understands that phones stay away when the work starts
n

Experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, carpentry or CNC is an advantage, but not essential.

n

THE ROLE

n

You'll spend your time across both our factory and installation sites, giving you the opportunity to learn the full process rather than just one part of the trade.

n

In the factory, you'll learn how to manufacture components accurately using traditional timberworking techniques and modern CNC machinery.

n

On site, you'll work alongside our installation team to understand how everything comes together and how to deliver a finished staircase to a high standard.
