GLORY MARBLE & GRANITE is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Team Member to join our dynamic team at our Thomastown, Victoria facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Warehouse & Logistics Team Member, you will be instrumental in ensuring our products are stored, organised and dispatched efficiently to meet our customers' demands. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain and directly contributes to the success of our business operations.

Key responsibilities

n

Receiving, checking and processing incoming shipments of marble and granite products, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met

n

Organising and storing materials in designated warehouse areas using appropriate storage systems and safety protocols

n

Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications and delivery requirements

n

Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of materials during transport

n

Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock control and cycle counts

n

Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment as required

n

Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations

n

Assisting with general maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities and equipment

n

Supporting the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders

n

Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels, discrepancies and operational issues

n

What we're looking for

n

Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution setting

n





Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, with relevant certifications where applicable

n

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment

n

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

n

Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling tasks regularly, including lifting heavy items

n

A strong commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace procedures

n

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

n

Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards work

n

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems would be advantageous

n

A valid driver's license is beneficial for this role
