Greystones Recruitment is seeking experienced Warehouse Operators / Storepersons to join an impressive, modern distribution operation in the Melbourne Airport / Tullamarine area.

n

This is not your typical warehouse environment. You will be working in a state-of-the-art, highly automated facility incorporating robotics, advanced warehouse technology and modern pick‐and‐pack systems.

n

Importantly, these are permanent full-time positions – not casual roles.

n

If you are currently working casually, this is an opportunity to move into secure, ongoing permanent employment, with the benefits that come with it including paid annual leave, paid personal/sick leave and superannuation, while also receiving the applicable afternoon-shift loading.

Hours

n

Afternoon Shift: 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday

n

Overtime may be available or required when operationally necessary.

n

The Role

n

Working within a modern, technology-driven distribution centre, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Reach forklift operation
n
- Counterbalance forklift operation
n
- Tugger operation
n
- Receiving, picking, packing and dispatch
n
- Working with automated and robotic warehouse systems
n
- Using modern technology and computer-based warehouse systems
n
- Working within high-tech pick-and-pack processes
n
- General warehouse and distribution duties
n
- Prioritising workloads and meeting operational deadlines
n




- Working safely and efficiently within established procedures
n
- Supporting other team members and contributing to a positive workplace
n

n

About You

n

To be considered, you will need:

n

n
- Current Australian forklift licence
n
- Reach forklift experience
n
- Tugger experience
n
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
n
- Confidence working with technology and learning new systems
n
- Good organisational and time-management skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good communication skills
n
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
n
- Good level of physical fitness
n
- Willingness to work the permanent 2pm–10pm afternoon shift
n

n

Experience in an automated warehouse would be an advantage, but just as important is being comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems and processes.

n
