The Opportunity

n

Our client, a well-established civil and infrastructure construction business, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team delivering a significant bridge construction project based in the Mornington area. This is a genuine opportunity to work on a live, high-profile piece of civil infrastructure close to the Mornington Peninsula.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide on-site engineering support across all phases of bridge and civil construction works
n
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on program and to specification
n
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, design documentation and specifications on site
n
- Manage quality assurance and compliance documentation, including ITPs, inspections and as-built records
n
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the broader project team to ensure smooth site delivery
n
- Support setout, survey coordination and materials/quantity tracking
n
- Contribute to programming,



sequencing and problem-solving of on-site construction challenges
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards throughout works
n

About You

n

n
- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent trade/technical background with robust site experience)
n
- Experience in bridges, roads or broader civil infrastructure construction essential
n
- Open to mid-level through to senior Site Engineers — the right experience matters more than years alone
n
- Comfortable working within a structured, safety-focused site environment
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a project team
n
- Victorian construction industry experience highly regarded
n
