With our renovations now complete, we're gearing up for a busy season ahead and are looking to strengthen our Kitchen team with experienced, reliable and enthusiastic team members who are passionate about hospitality.

To support this next stage of development, we have casual opportunities for energetic, driven, reliable and passionate Kitchenhands.

About the role

n

These roles are ideal for individuals that are passionate about hospitality, food, service and enjoy working behind the scenes to support our food and beverage operations.

n

Due to our 7-day operations, the hours will be flexible however, applicants must be available to work shifts on weekends, public holidays, nights and weekdays.

n

What you will be doing

n

Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, cool rooms, freezers, fridges, storage areas, and surrounding back-of-house spaces.

n

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and stored to a high standard.

n

Assist with basic food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures.

n

Support Chefs and Kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations as required.

n

Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly after use.

n

Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

n

Assist with receiving, unpacking,



and storing deliveries while maintaining correct stock rotation practices.

n

Remove waste, recycling, and general rubbish in accordance with venue procedures.

n

Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

n

Maintain a professional, reliable, and proactive approach during busy service periods.

n

Assist in ensuring the kitchen remains organised, well-stocked, and service-ready at all times.

n

Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist across various kitchen duties to support smooth restaurant operations.

n

About you

n

At least 12 months demonstrated experience in Kitchen operations -

n

Some food knowledge and commitment to Food Safety principles (Food Safety Training would be viewed favourably)

n

Be organised with the ability to work calmly under pressure

n

A passion for people, teamwork and providing exceptional guest service

n

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed

n

Pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

n

Knowledge of WHS procedures and chemical safety will be highly regarded

n
