Villanova College is seeking a full-time continuing Engineering Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027.

This role offers the opportunity to teach Engineering across Years 7 to 12, working alongside motivated students and a collegial faculty in a school committed to academic excellence and the formation of the whole person. Key Responsibilities

n

- Teach Engineering across a range of year levels, including the Australian Curriculum and QCAA Senior Syllabuses
n
- Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build design thinking, problem-solving and technical literacy
n
- Design and implement assessment and feedback practices aligned to QCAA and ACARA requirements
n
- Monitor student progress and use evidence to inform teaching decisions
n
- Contribute to faculty planning, moderation and curriculum development
n
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom environment
n

About You

n

The successful applicant will:

- Hold tertiary qualifications in education with a specialisation in Engineering or similar discipline
n
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to contemporary, evidence-based pedagogy
n
- Show capacity to engage students through practical, project-based and design-centred approaches
n




- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students across the full range of abilities
n
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
n
- Support and participate in the spiritual life and mission of the College, including co-curricular involvement
