Northline is seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator / Controller to join our Sunshine West team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of our Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining exceptional service levels for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

n

As a Fleet Allocator / Controller, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Planning and scheduling daily pick-up and delivery runs using Orcoda to maximise fleet utilisation and service performance.
n
- Coordinating drivers and allocating work effectively to ensure freight is loaded, delivered, and collected safely and on time.
n
- Maintaining regular communication with drivers and operational teams throughout the day.
n
- Monitoring compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements, Chain of Responsibility obligations, fatigue management regulations, and safety standards.
n
- Tracking and reporting on operational KPIs, including missed pick-ups, delivery performance, and fleet efficiency.
n
- Managing service disruptions and operational challenges by implementing practical and timely solutions.
n
- Coordinating priority freight and special delivery requests as required.
n
- Ensuring fleet presentation, load restraint compliance, and vehicle safety standards are consistently maintained.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet allocation, dispatch, or scheduling.
n
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
n




- The ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions in a fast-moving operational environment.
n
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Experience working with transport management, dispatch, or scheduling systems.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
n
- Knowledge of NHVR Fatigue Management, Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), Load Restraint Guidelines, and Dangerous Goods requirements will be highly regarded.
n
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
