Queensland | FIFO / DIDO | Major Civil Infrastructure

Durack Civil is looking for an experienced Project Manager with solid TMR experience to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across regional and remote Queensland.

n

This is not a desk-based PM role.

n

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a project, lead the team, manage the client and drive the job commercially and operationally from start to finish.

n

The Role

n

You'll be responsible for the overall performance of your project, including:

n

n
- Leading TMR road and civil infrastructure projects
n
- Managing project teams, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
n
- Programming, planning and driving daily production
n
- Managing budgets, forecasting and project commercial performance
n
- Managing variations, EOTs, contractual notices and claims
n
- Building strong relationships with TMR representatives and contract administrators
n
- Managing quality, safety and environmental requirements
n
- Coordinating plant, labour, materials and subcontractors
n
- Identifying project risks early and solving problems before they become expensive
n
- Maintaining transparent reporting and accountability across the project
n
- Taking genuine ownership of the result

About You

n

We're particularly interested in people who have:

n

n




- Strong knowledge of TMR specifications, contracts and project administration
n
- A civil engineering or construction background
n
- Experience delivering roadworks, pavements, earthworks, drainage and associated civil works
n
- Strong commercial and contractual capability
n
- Experience managing projects in regional or remote environments
n
- The ability to lead teams and make decisions without needing constant direction
n
- A practical understanding of construction - not just project reporting
n
