Vision Radiology is seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our Kangaroo Flat team.

n

About the Role

n

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important first point of contact for our patients and will work closely with our clinical and administration teams.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Greeting patients and providing a warm, welcoming and professional experience
n
- Booking and coordinating patient appointments
n
- Answering telephone enquiries and assisting patients with their queries
n
- Communicating appointment information clearly and professionally
n
- Processing patient information, referrals and payments
n
- Checking and updating patient details accurately
n
- Providing administrative support to the clinical team
n
- Liaising with patients, referrers, radiologists, sonographers and other clinical staff
n
- Managing a busy reception area and prioritising competing tasks
n
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
n
- Working collaboratively with the wider Vision Radiology team
n
- Ensuring every patient receives an exceptional level of service throughout their visit
n

Ideally, You Will Have

n

n
- Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
n
- Previous customer service experience
n
- Experience using medical booking or practice management systems
n
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
n
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
n
- A genuine interest in providing a positive patient experience
n
- A professional and polished approach to patient care
n

n

Medical imaging experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Training Provided

We understand that starting a new role in medical imaging involves learning new systems, processes and procedures.

Comprehensive training will be provided, with the successful applicant completing their initial training in Melbourne.

n

For applicants based in or travelling from Kangaroo Flat, Vision Radiology will cover the cost of accommodation in Melbourne for the duration of the required training period.

n

This provides you with the opportunity to receive hands-on training and become confident in our systems and processes before commencing your role at our Kangaroo Flat clinic.
