Xenith Consulting is seeking Exploration Geologists across multiple levels — from Graduate through to Supervisor — to join our growing Exploration and Generative Studies team .

n

These opportunities are suited to geologists looking to build or progress their career in exploration, with exposure to a diverse range of commodities, projects and clients across Australia.

n

As an Exploration Geologist , you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of exploration programs, supporting geological data collection, drilling, sampling, mapping and interpretation to achieve our clients’ exploration objectives.

n

For experienced Project Geologists and Supervisors , the role will also involve leading field programs, coordinating exploration contractors, managing drilling activities and ensuring programs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Plan, coordinate and supervise exploration programs including drilling, sampling and geological mapping
n
- Manage drill rigs and drilling contractors to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operations
n
- Monitor drilling progress, productivity and data quality
n
- Collect, validate and interpret geological, geochemical and drilling data
n
- Manage data collection, collation, QA/QC processes and finalisation for inclusion into company databases
n
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly exploration reports
n
- Coordinate sampling programs including RC, diamond core, soil, rock chip and other exploration sampling
n
- Supervise and direct exploration contractors to deliver the Company's exploration programs safely and efficiently
n
- Ensure exploration activities comply with environmental approvals and statutory obligations
n

About you n

Applicants must have:

n

n
- A Bachelor of Science with a major in Geology
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
- Sound geological knowledge and a commitment to high-quality technical work
n
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
n
- A willingness to undertake field-based and remote work on a rotational basis
n
- The ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
n
- A residence within a reasonable commuting distance of a major airport hub in Queensland or New South Wales.
n

Previous experience in mineral exploration, drilling, geological data management, GIS, geological modelling or industry-standard geological software will be highly regarded and considered relative to the level of the position.

n

Relevant statutory training, first aid, four-wheel-drive and other field-based qualifications will also be viewed favourably.
