One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Software Engineer (Developer) - EL1 Level. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

Eligibility: You must need to have Baseline Security Clearance or above.

Tentative Start Date: 1st March 2027

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

- Solid hands-on experience in C# / .NET developing, enhancing and maintaining enterprise applications.
n
- REST APIs – experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
n
- C# / .NET

- Oracle 11g/12c SQL and PL/SQL

- JavaScript
n
- VB6 (Visual Basic 6) – experience supporting or enhancing legacy applications.
n
- IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) – integration platform experience.
n
- Software engineering lifecycle – experience delivering software from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
n
- DevOps and automation – experience managing CI/CD pipelines, automated builds,



deployments and release processes.
n
- PowerShell scripting – automation and deployment support.
n
- Citrix administration – experience supporting or administering Citrix environments.
n
- Secure coding and software engineering standards – develop secure, maintainable, reliable and scalable applications.
n
- Application support and troubleshooting – investigate and resolve incidents, defects and performance issues in business-critical applications.
n
- Performance optimisation – monitor and improve application performance, reliability and scalability.
n
- Technical documentation – produce and maintain solution designs, technical specifications, architecture documentation and engineering artefacts.
n
- Code reviews – conduct code reviews and ensure development standards and best practices are followed.
n
- Technical leadership – provide technical guidance, mentor junior developers and contribute to solution design decisions.
n
- Stakeholder engagement – work with business stakeholders, technical specialists, testing teams, release management and operations teams.
