We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to join Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable transportation.

Responsibilities

n

Reporting to the Line Manager, you will be part of a team-oriented production team responsible for delivering high-quality finishing work to strict specifications and standards.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding and other preparation techniques.
n
- Mix and match paints, coatings and finishes to achieve the required colours and textures.
n
- Apply paint and coatings using spray-painting techniques in accordance with specifications.
n
- Ensure a high-quality finish while maintaining attention to detail.
n




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
n
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet quality and production requirements.
n

Your Profile

n

Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- To be successful in this role, you will have: ACertificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology, Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing, or Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body. Qualification will be sighted at interview.
n
- Previous experience in spray painting, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
n
- The ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures and specifications.
n
- A reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach.
n
- Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol Test and National Police Check following a successful interview.
n
