Job Description

- Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective coverings to shield nearby areas from paint spills and splashes.
n
- Mixing paint components, including pigments, oils, and necessary additives, to achieve the desired colors and consistency.
n
- Installing wallpaper, aligning patterns, and neatly trimming edges for a skilled appearance.
n
- Prepping surfaces by stripping old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks and holes, and ensuring smooth and sealed surfaces.
n
- Applying paint, stains, and varnishes with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for a flawless finish.
n
- Cleaning tools, equipment, and the worksite after completing the job.
n
- Performing window repairs and replacing glass panes in both wooden and metal frames when required.
n
- Installing and repairing wall and floor tiles as part of finishing work.

Required Qualifications

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Required Work Experience

n

1-year minimum experience as a Painter or a related field.
