The Prospect

WeareseekingaqualifiedandexperiencedMechanicalFitter/MachinisttojoinabusyengineeringworkshopinWesternAustralia.Workingwithinaprofessionalandsafety-focusedteam,youwillcarryoutmechanicalfitting,machining,maintenance,andrepairworkacrossarangeofindustrialequipmentandcomponents.

Key Responsibilities

- Carryoutmechanicalfittingandmachiningworktoahighstandard
- Performmaintenance,repairandoverhaulofmechanicalequipment
- Interpretandworkfromengineeringdrawingsandtechnicalspecifications
- Operateworkshoptoolsandmachinerysafelyandefficiently
- Inspectequipmentandidentifyfaultsorwear
- Maintainhigh-qualityworkmanshipwhilemeetingprojectdeadlines
- Complywithworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
- Workcollaborativelywithsupervisorsandteammembers
- Maintainaccuratejobdocumentationwhererequired
- Supportcontinuousimprovementinitiativeswithintheworkshop

- Provenexperienceinamechanicalfittingormachiningenvironment
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretengineeringdrawings
- WorkingatHeightscertification
- ConfinedSpaceEntrycertification
- WhiteCard(ConstructionInductionCard)
- ForkliftLicenceisadvantageous

- Strongcommitmenttoworkplacehealthandsafety
- Abilitytopassapre-employmentmedical,includingdrugandalcoholscreening
- WillingnesstoundergoaNationalPoliceClearance
